Well, unfortunately, it is the opposite when homeowners want to sell their home and want their treasures to be considered treasures. Everyone has a different style to decorate or store goods in their homes. When the buyers are walking through a home for sale, what do we want them to focus on? BUYERS’S AGENT SAID…
• 83% said staging a home made it easier for a buyer to visualize the property as their future home.
• 47% said home staging influenced most buyer’s view of the home.
• 44% said that it will positively impact home value up to 10% if the home is decorated to buyer’s taste.
• 23% said buyers will overlook the property’s faults.
• 7% said that it will negatively impact home value if the home is not decorated to buyer’s taste.

SELLERS’ AGENT SAID…
• 28% of Agents staged homes before selling regularly while 13% only staged difficult homes to sell.
• Most common rooms to be staged, 93% Living Rooms, 84% Kitchens, 78% Master Bedrooms, 72% Dining rooms.
• Most common home improvements: Decluttering the home (95%), Deep home cleaning (89%), Removing pets during showing (83%), Carpet Cleaning (78%), Professional Photos (73%)
